Well, today begins my spring break...
so you ask "katie, why the heck are u posting on livejournal if its ur spring break?"
well there are two answers:
1. i am still in delaware, where no one else is besides my own roommate who has to give a tour tomorrow morning, but im still awake.
2. my babe is far-away in florida for the week.
now, u are all rolling ur eyes. and let me set u straight...i know: its only one week, ur going home and will be so busy, he's coming back to you. I am happy he went, he needed it. but damn, sitting around my house today, curled up on the porch watching the rain: i missed him.
i realize just HOW MUCH i love that boy. how much i cant wait to spend every day with him.
now you are thinking "hasnt she been going out with him for like a month?"
the answer to that is so very complicated, that i cant truly explain it and u truly wouldnt understand it: besides the people i have already explained it to. just believe it...
this isnt some crush. this isnt a 'katie' thing. this is the real thing. i am his princess, he is my prince charming. he is my strength and i am his smile (and im gonna go with visa versa).
but it sucks.
after this week though (cross my fingers), his family will know. and this can be real. truly and completely real.
now if reality would just stop sucking (and he found those brain cells he lost...hehe), we can have our real-life fairy tale.
my day otherwise was fun.
Mandee and I had dinner
went to Newark Co-op and found some new delicious foods.
she got a flat tire
called her daddy and he drove 20 minutes to fix it
we went to the movie during that time.
good movie
came back
watch 3 episodes of greys.
now i cant sleep.
hope all u did, or are enjoying spring break. and i will once i get to be home on sunday. :D

its been a long time since i couldnt fall asleep. but tonite is one of those nights. which hasnt been so bad because i def. studied alot and read two chapters for one of my classes. so im almost all caught up on work thats all due wednesday, so i can focus on stuff due friday. booooooo edtech crap.
reason im not sleeping is because my head is spinning. which in turn is making the room spin and i just am not tired because of this all.
dance was great tonite.

updating...
prince charming. he is officially prince charming. after grey's last night, he is also a real-life Mcdreamy, based off a quote that was said to Meredith about Mcdreamy being one of the last guys who still believes in true love. in magic. in soulmates.
now just have to relax and let him catch me. he will catch me. i just have to let him.
school is crazy, but i love it.
dance is hectic and dramatic and a bit of a roller coaster lately. but my dance is piecing together just as in my head. which is just magical. the rest of the dances im in are freaking amazing. its gonna be one hot show. if my body will make it that long. thank goodness i have one amazing back-massage giver.
also, one week til im home in jersey. miss that place A LOT. this is home, but that is where my heart will always lie. along with jackie, duh.
so, tonite was just a katie kind of night. feeling crappy because i def. told julia i'd go to her birthday party, but i needed tonite more. i took a bath, will now sit down with a good book, then watch movie with oreos, with two amazing girls (cait and mandee). sigh
life is pretty darn kickass sometimes. : D

these past few weeks have been a complete roller coaster, but i have finally come to terms with everything and am finally happy again. Yes, there is still an emptiness and a pain in my heart where the pieces are. But they are healing...slowly...with help.
my friends have been saviors, along with my family. making me smile, dying my hair, going shopping with me, hugging me, just being there for me. Thank god every day for the people in my life. They are my strength when I have lost it all.
i dont deserve to wait. i dont deserve to wonder. i dont deserve to be hurt twice.
guess thats all.
going to sleep feeling better than i have in a long time.

well its been another century.
dance auditions went well. found some amazing dancers for my dance!!
Thanksgiving break was amazing!!!! I was productive and wrote papers, hung out with friends and family...even had brunch with mike's family. it was a great weekend!!! too short
back here for the last week and a half of classes...
made dinner for the boys on friday. it was amazing. good food, good friends...amazing!!
saturday i went shopping with Mike, he got a lot of shopping done, and i got some decorations!! :)
sunday, had brunch with mandee cait and mike. yummy eggs benedict!! not as good as mommys though
and now, it is the last tuesday of classes, one more day after this! i cant believe it. and i even finished all my papers (minus an extra credit one). Im so freakin proud!!!
im totally excited for break. not too excited to be working back at FYE, but its good pay, and its a lot better than starting a new job, just remembering an old one. and my manager is cool, and MOST of the people working there will be fun to be around. :)
i am gonna miss my girls here though (and boys). i have spent so much time with DRDC, i have gotten so much closer to them. i <3 them. along with my housemates...i love our gilmore girls and grey's and random procrastination!!
ok, well off to sell back books and meet up with nicole, who FINALLY is back from South Africa!! shes been gone toooo long.
now if i wasnt sick...

well its been a century since the last time i posted...and since im really not going to do anything til we leave for PA in a bit, i decided to recap friday!!
drove to allentown. saw mommy and matt. got swung around by gilch. made pretty signs and decorated the band room! I love that marching band :) :)
came home and ran lots of errands. pretty productive!
hung out with family after talking to mike, which drained me completely. ugh.
went to hooters with matt and jackie! wonderfulness...

and today im off to allentown, PA (not nj)...for marching band finals. gulp...im excited for Allentown Redbird Marching Band to kick BUTT!!! :) and spend lots and lots of time with daddy and mommy...and maybe some with matt.
well i guess thats it. ugh. i have so much work piling up from being here...but by friday, no more lesson plans!! just three large large papers to write. ugh. and 2 finals.
but in one week and 2 days, he'll be with me again. its been so long.
oooo ps: im totally excited for dancer auditions next weekend. pumped!!! I <3 drdc, let me tell u...ive been spending lots of time with them, and they totally make me smile NON-STOP, but that might have something do with Laura's (steven colbert's) dance. hahahahah and all our stories from past nights and days.
ok off to prepare for a beautiful day and cold night in PA.

i miss him.
i like hardcore. insane. over the top miss him.
and of course i have to have EVERYTHING remind me of him.
Mr. Esptein on Greys...plus the hannakah thing, which im totally stoked to be learning about, it will be our first hannakah together. :o
i hear the song "crazy" more than i should. and every time i hear chasing cars, i just think about lying in bed next to him, talking and forgetting the world.
bah.
i cant wait...10 days.
it will be heavenly. the most amazing weekend ever.

i had to get that out. its just been draining, i feel a little emptier everyday...but i TOTALLY know its worth it.
welp, i start my week tomorrow...today was equally productive and unproductive. did lots and lots of work. found out where my school was. went to the bank. studied for like 3 hours. did a lecture. worked on costume inventory.
and then went to dance, to turn around and come back and watch 3 episodes of Greys and eat oreos. some may say that was a productive use of my time. so do i...come to think of it.
ok, im so totally fighting to keep my eyes open, because i would give anything to be able to talk to him before going to bed. anything to feel close to him as i fall asleep.

Welp,
Grey's started again last night. it was an intense episode. it could have used a bit more laughter...but it was totally cute with George "Like dying from the plague". He's precious...he could totally do better than Callie. bah. I have to say that the fact that McDreamy confessed he loved Meredith, that was a shocker. it was interesting to see what happened before everyone came to the hospital. "She has no pants" - when McDreamy kicked Addison out of the house. *gasp*. i love george.
good episode...great way to end a long, long day. though board meetings are fun too, this was even better.
afterwards...4 hour phone conversation. it was amazing. and only 1 hour was a fight. i swear it was exactly what we both needed. what our relationship needed. amazing. amazing. completely and totally amazing.
we are going to be ok...we always are.
ok im off to try to get my lazy ass to the gym for a little. probably wont happen. lol.
